Forge Technologies is excited to announce a new customer, Freeths, a leading law firm committed to adopting a cloud-first strategy. This partnership marks a significant milestone for both companies as we work together to modernise Freeths’ network infrastructure, paving the way for a seamless transition to cloud-based services.
Freeths currently operates much of its services on-premises, a setup that poses challenges to its vision of a cloud-first strategy. The existing network infrastructure, featuring an MPLS and a LAN/Wireless network, comprises a multi-vendor solution across Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, and Aruba. This complex and fragmented setup necessitates a more streamlined and cohesive approach to support Freeths’ cloud migration goals and simplifying and improving their support process.
A Comprehensive Network Solution
Forge Technologies will deploy Fortinet’s SD-WAN and SD-Branch solutions, offering a unified network infrastructure across Freeths’ entire estate. This single-vendor solution will include carrier-diverse DIA circuits to deliver a true SD-WAN experience complemented by single-pane-of-glass management and analytics. This approach ensures robust, centralised control and visibility over the entire network and an enhanced security posture.
The co-managed service model will provide Freeths with the perfect balance of support and autonomy. Forge will be there to “keep the lights on,” ensuring continuous operation and support, while Freeths retains access and control over their environment. This model emphasises ongoing optimisation, continually enhancing and improving the network environment.
Jason Osmond, CEO of Forge Technologies, expressed his excitement about the partnership, saying:
“We are thrilled to partner with Freeths in their journey towards a cloud-first strategy. Our comprehensive network solutions and co-managed service model will empower Freeths to achieve their strategic goals while maintaining the flexibility and control they need. This partnership exemplifies our commitment to delivering cutting-edge, customer-centric solutions that drive business success.”
Richard Hodkinson, Chief Technology Officer at Freeths, added:
“As one of the fastest-growing law firms in the UK, we are delighted to partner with Forge Technologies on this project which will further help to streamline our services through a cloud-first strategy. This innovative partnership aligns with our wider business operations as we look ahead to 2025.”
